Seeing Things Through The Eyes of God

Sometimes we as Christians view things without taking notice of who that person really is.  We can not judge a person just by how they appear to be.  I make mistakes like this on occasion and I feel shame and regret.  I often ask God to renew my mind, heart and Spirit so I won’t lean on my own understanding but instead, yield to God’s perspective and trust Him (Proverbs 3:5-6).  Although we as Christians may fail God sometimes, God knows we are sinners and forgive us and our sin or sins are removed and remembered no longer (Isaiah 43:25).  I am so thankful that we have such a forgiving God!!  He loves us for who we are which is His creation but hates our sins.  With fervent prayer, bible reading, meditation, guidance and direction, we are apt to do His will.  Let us not forget that we as Christians are here to build God’s kingdom.  We are to glorify Him daily.  I know I will make mistakes but God wants us to perfect His ways and live blameless.

Prayer: Thank you God for loving me unconditionally and forgiving me for my sins.  As I am of the flesh, I know I will fail you but in your Spirit I will gain the strength and determination to do your will.  Only within you will I conquer the enemy.  I can not do it on my own.  Thank you for loving me enough to send your Son to die on the cross for our sins.  You are forever faithful.  Amen
